Wow...

Fri Oct 3, 2008, 6:19 PM
Holy shit. I totally forgot about this site! Yea, don't really have time for stuff like this anymore. But all I can say is the stuff I work on is ten times better than what I have on here. SVA has really taught me good...cept for a couple, either they didn't know how to teach or they were mean. But most were good.

And I'm a senior. I'll be graduating in May 2009.

I doubt I'll come back on here. I just wanted to see what I used to do. Maybe I will, maybe I won't.

Maybe if I get into photomanips again. We'll see.

Ta ta.

School

So yea, I'm in SVA right now. Sofar my classes are pretty cool. All my teachers seem nice...cept for one, that one is pretty uptight, but we'll see what happens later on, too soon to judge. But yea. This school's keeping me from being lazy, so that's a good thing. Only thing is my expenses are annoying, so I need a fuckin job for real this time =/

So yea, my classes. Basic Graphic Design is alright. Basic Type Design is pretty interesting. Computers in the Studio is kinda easy, cuz right now we're learning about the programs I already know, but I'm learning other things as well. Literature and Writing is pretty simple, I just read and write essays, and the professor's pretty leniant and helpful. 3D Graphic Design is awesome cuz it's different, we do 3D projects with our hands, and the professor's pretty cool. Visual Literecy is kinda boring, but at least it's only one semester. Graphic Drawing sofar is alright, a bit annoying, though. Yea, most of my classes are like 2 credit classes, so that's why I gotta take alot of classes this year. Oh well.

And I was thinking of what kind of graphic design I would wanna do. I'll probably pick either poster design, book design, or maybe flash. I dunno, that's what I think now, but we'll see later on =]

Later.

Graduated and moving onto bigger and better things

I got an associates in Graphic Design and Illustration as of June 12th, 2006, at Kingsborough Community College. I start SVA on September 5th.

That, plus I'll be in Greece from July 19th to August 19th.

I'm also searching for a scholarship or two cuz of how retarded TAP is =/

That is all. Posted more work, check em out =]

Big Ass Updating

Well, I got an A+ in my Designing With Type class (same with English 2)! And I'm finishing up on my last batch of classes in Kingsborough. Currently I'm taking Illustration Style, Adobe Illustrator, Intro to Graphic Design and Advertising, Modern America: 1920s - Present, and Independant Study. Just now I was putting four of my Illustration Style projects up and one from Adobe Illustrator.

I'm working on two more posters in Illustrator and I just finished my last Illustration Style project. Looks so awesome, I can't wait to get it back!!! And I handed in my final project for my independant study course. And I'm done in Intro to GD because my project was accepted into our school's End of the Year Student Art Gallary.

Soon I shall be graduating from Kingsborough, have my summer break, and then I'll go to SVA in September :D

Stay tuned for more projects to be put up!

Transferring

Thu Feb 2, 2006, 11:36 AM
Well, I'm officially transferring from Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn to the School of Visual Arts in New York City. I also got accepted to Pratt Institute in downtown Brooklyn as well, but I like SVA's graphic design program better. Earlier, I've been having a dilemma on where to go to, but a few good friends of mine has reminded me that the best decision of which school to go to is where you REALLY want to go to, despite the cost. Plus, I got feedback that Pratt's more of an academic school, and they make you take alot of unneccisary classes and expect like around 135 credits from you instead of 120.

So whether I get good financial aid, grants, a scholarship, or having to get loans, I've made my decision.

My winter classes are going okay. I made this poster in Design with Type, but it came out crappy (although my professor thinks it's good). This is what happens when I don't know Adobe Illustrator yet...lol. But now we're all designing a deck of cards. When I'm done with that project, I'll post it on here before I hand it in cuz god knows when I'm gonna get it back. Probably during spring.

Till next time...
